As some you may know my online psn name is STL10, and guess what someone messaged me with name stl_10. The story goes he proceeds to challenge me to a game of madden 09 for the rights to the name. I respond "NO", and state I've had this name since launch 06 why should I give it up. So this raises the question does psn even care someone makes a name similar to you? PS: I would have destroyed him in madden anyways :P

The name isn't that great - it has numbers in it - so no need to get worked up. The point is that it was my online identity,and he stole it. I don't care how stupid or dumb the name is.

i do own 2 ps3's thanks to best buy's hdtv deal, but I only have 1 active psn account my japanese, euro, and hong kong accounts are strictly for demos ya delete the guy off your friends he's trying to copy and or be like me.

His has a dash in it. Yous does not. ...I tried to add one of my friends, I thought it was him when I messaging to him, but it wasnt him. they just have the same ID that's all. The difference is his ID has this _ in the end.... No one was trying to copy anyone tho.

well obviously its just some dude having a go at you for lols. its probably some kid with nothing better to do with his day so he makes copies of peoples accounts then has a go at them.
my PSN is Sephirothsdx. yeah its not the most original name out there but its also 1 ive had for a long time now. I use that name for pretty much everything. PSN, CoD, pretty much anything that requires a sign in name. except in the rare case that its already taken. like gamespot.
