when i turn on my ps3 i automatically sign in, but occassionally my ps3 will sign me out saying an error has occurred and sometimes when i try to sign in again it tells me that an error has occurred with the DNS server . . . this happens to me everytime i'm on, is this something i should really be concerned with or does this usually happen? sorry, i'm a ps3 noob, just got it a week ago after finally having enough money to get one =]

Try re-starting your router and you should be fine.

its a problem with playstation network usually, its been down quite a bit lately but that could be due to maintence and testing out the update... to make sure its not your own IPs fault to a network connection test

I used to have that problem all the time and it got really annoying. Then I fixed it by following this video and haven't had a problem since.
