Something weird is happening...

I was playing Uncharted until around 10 PM (started at around 8 PM ant played GH3 for one hour before that). I go to bed, get up at 2 AM because I can't sleep and go on YouTube. Next morning at 10:20 AM, Uncharted was already in the Ps3, I wanted to play but the little disc display never came up. I took it out and the tried it again. All I got was the loading symbol for about 10 minutes strait. I tried GH3, didn't work, and then a DVD, didn't work. Uploaded version 2.35 hoping it would fix something, but alas it didn't.

Is my Blu-Ray Disc Drive faulty, or is it my Ps3. Any help whatsoever would be gratful. Also, don't know if this will help, I've had it for 5 months and 1 day and it's the 40GB version. Thank you for your time.

wouldnt it make more sense to just call sony and ask them, seeing as how they know more about your ps3 than anyone on these forums.

what you wanna do is open up your ps3 and pour some water around the cpu, but make sure its tap water not spring waterGFreydson

or you can try to reformat your ps3 to see if it works or not.

Back up all your data (saves, music etc...) Then reformat your PS3 HDD as the poster above suggested. If that still don;t work then the last option is to call Sony.

What happens if it's in the warrenty but you don't have the reciept?StewieZim101

The receipt wont matter. Sony will ask you for the serial number of the console, and if its under warranty, you'll be fine. You'll still have to send it back and probably wont get it by the time MGS4 comes out. That sucks. sorry dude.

Back up your data and send it back to sony

One thing to add, you need to show some love, be aggresive with the kissing, but don't over-do it or it won't want to read your disk again.
