Yea, very bad idea. That wouldn't ever happen either.

But I do agree that Leapord is much faster than Vista. Vista = Windows ME #2. XP is just too dang good, they can't beat their own product, lol. That just says alot for XP.

i have leopard its fast in s ome areas slower in others and general not very efficient (networking is broken at this point). Also i never understood why people rag on MS for being a monopoly and not Apple. they have there own OS and you can only get the hardware for it from them, that is a monopoly (They can charge anything they want for there hardware and they do).

I am still scratching my head over what microsoft was thinking while they were creating Vista. "Hmm, consumers won't mind the fact an OPERATING system will require 2 GB memory to run smoothly". Geez, even gamers don't have that much memory.ryank285

lol :) I can see where you're coming from in a sence, but apple clearly aren't interested in gaming. Which I personaly think is a big mistake concidering their latest hardware is actualy quite good, maybe they can pull it together in that department, who knows, but I don't think the playstation is the answer for it.

Though I agree that it would never happen, don't count out partnerships of competitors. Ever heard of the format war between Blu-Ray (Sony) and HDDVD (Toshiba)? Do you know who helped create the Cell BE processor with Sony and currently makes them for the PS3? (HINT: It's Toshiba!)

This would never happen. Apple only cares about their OS and the iPod line, they don't need to be in the gaming scene, and obviously don't care about the gaming scene.fntsycloud

Yea but if you look way down the road. And if you look at how EA and Micro work. A merger between two that actually know what their doing, would be sweet. And it would be dominant, at least quality wise. Because EA and Micro do ok, And they have no quality.

think about it like this, if Apple knew that they could get an edge over bill gates with getting into the gaming industry by forming a partenership with Sony, they would be all over that opportunity!chrisr913
