Just like you saved up those "other" money from non selling the PS2 to afford a PS3, save up a little longer and you won't have to sell you PS2 if you really want to play PS2 games once you have PS3.
I don't really know what to tell you. As of now both 60GB and 80GB play PS1/PS2 games. If you can't afford them and want to play your old PS games then save a bit more and keep your PS2 Console.
I wish they included the B/C in 399$ version, however it's still a great price for the system regardless.

Agreed...
Hey TC! If you are trying to move on, then what exactly is your problem???
First of all I have no idea what you're talking about. Proper grammar? Not quite sure what was so non-understandable in my post? (For the record, the grammar was proper).
You said your "lost". Which I presume was because of not being able to play PS/PS2 games on PS3 399% console? I'm wrong?
If not, that was one of the reason I advised you to keep your PS2 since you can't afford the 60GB or 80GB versions which both play older generation.

I love my DDR's and i don't know if i can let them go, just yet.
Then listen to Sokol4ever! Sheesh...
Are you referring to Dance Dance Revolution? Is this a joke thread? LOL
It's gotta be!
Understandable, I'm still having PS2 around as I was scared that I won't be able to play FFVII on PS3.
Even though I finished it few times, it's one game that I hold dear as you do DDR. I was a bit sceptical of buying PS3 but after some time I moved on and was pleased that 60GB played it well.
It took me more time to save because I could had sold most of my games and PS2 for good amount of money.
I guess when time comes and you're ready to move on - then it will be a good purchase :)

Sorry for being difficult. Thanks for your input.
I am one system away from completing my "Next gen" gaming collective. I'm about to trade in my ps2 and eight games which consist of five versions of DDR which i repeat, hold their value extremely well.I'm surei won't get a ton of credit butI have no real alternate as i would love to have backwards compatibility in a PS3but i think it's time move forward. Your thoughts on my loss/gain are appreciated.CC914
Well if your thinking its time to move forward then Sony is hopeing everybody else that has a PS2 wants to do the same thing. Now is a good time to do it because theirs games coming out more and more in these coming months and when Sony starts racking in the sales, which I bet they will with the $400 system, then we will get games just as much as the 360 if M$ deost buy everything as an exclusive. I think you should do it. I got my PS3 in July and I LOVE it. Hope to see you upgrade to the PS3. :]
Save up $100 more and pick up a 60gig if you can find out.
Or if you can order online somehow, ebgames.com still has 20gigs in stock for $449.
Please add your input only if "your" use of grammar makes your post understandable. Thanks. Besides, why would would i keep my Ps2 when i'm trying to move on.CC914
That was kinda rude dude...he was just trying to give you some input on your decision....I don't think he was asking you to grade his grammer.
Man...people are just plain mean on the internet. lol
Actually, i realized that and apologized later.

lol...sorry, I just saw that and I apologize for my statement.:)
[QUOTE="DEVILinIRON"]So why not be an American then, and charge a 60 gig? LOLMERC_RECONN
That was....kinda....funny.:P
It's really more sad than funny, in my case. Because I plan on charging 10+ games on my card... :(
So why not be an American then, and charge a 60 gig? LOLDEVILinIRON
totally, you get what you pay for. the 40 gig for 399 is an excellent price, and an excellent deal for what you're getting even without backwards compatability.
if you want b/c go for the 60 or 80gig sku, simple as that.

C'mon man, no need to be like this. Understand that not every person on this board uses English as a 1st language. Lighten up.
