hey everyone.

ok my ps3 had issue's a while ago it didn't read any games and had it for 5 months or so.
so i brought it back where i bought it and they sended it to sony but after so long i still heard any news if its fixed or not...

i live Holland and bought the Ps3 40GB version.
its just pissing me off i can't play on my ps3 >_>

I'm pretty sure the store you bought it from should've just swapped you out for a new one. Of you should've dealt directly with Sony. Sucks to be you bro. Someone's prob been playing on your ps3 for awhile now.

and yeah that's what i asked if i could get a new one. but they first wanted to send it to sony to get it fixed first. well i doubt they could play on it since it doesn't read disc's...

Usually the store you buy your PS3 won't touch your broken PS3 with a bargepole,and they usually go on about it's nothing to do with them once you've made your purchase and they will tell you to deal with Sony directly,so i'm very surprised that where ever you bought yours took it back to send into Sony for you?

Hmm dude I hate to tell you this,but you might have gotton robbed.Now that I think about it,why would a store take the time to send your PS3 back,and then what?Call you to tell you that it is in.The store would have given you a replacement console or would have told you that it was not possible for them to replace.

Mind telling us how long it's been since you sent it off before you even talk about it? For all we know, you could be ranting about 1 or 2 weeks which is average for these repairs...

its gone for almost 1 month >_> i've been visited the shop much lately and they said, they still didn't heard anything. and i trust these peoples since i know them for years and they always helped me when i had trouble with my systems. but i think replacement is not possible unlesh they are really sure when its's broke. they simply sended it to sony and they said it could take a while.

its true though.

i will mention that i sent mine in once to have them check the HDMI(damn tv had a busted one and no warranty) and it took less than a month to get the box, send it in and get it back.

sonys service is alot better than microsofts

I just took mine back 3 times in one day

First I had a massive argument with the woman about a faulty cable not working, they gave me a new one.
When I got home it was not the cable it was the system not working.
So had to drive all the way there again, then I found out they gave me a 40gb instead of a 80gb, So I had to drive all the way back again to replace it >.

hello, i live in the US. the stores here dont send out repair for us. .....we have to send it ourselves.....and call Sony on our own.
