Sony made us wait 2 years for THIS

now dont get me wrong i like home(dont love it but its alright) but seriously sony have been delaying this for 2 years saying they are fixing bugs adding new features whatever and i know that there's gonna be new stuff coming constantly which is gr8

but after 2 years of hype when they finally launch it all they've made availible is a theatre, bowling alley, and an empty shopping centre which i find pretty dissapointing what abt the resistance, motor storm, heavenly sword spaces we've seen and the red bull flying thing and the trophy room which i think should've been done by now considering it was shown at E3, and no photo frames, no TV's, nothing in the house only a couple of chairs and tables

CMON sony u could've done a better job and if they were thinking abt giving us this in the 1st place they could've launched it straight away when the PS3 was launched as it is very limited

dats what i thought of Home hope we get to see new areas soon and some new clothes, furniture etc (freebies sony)

It would come in handy if you wanted to show a friend something without actually sending it to them. Question is, can you actually stream entire movies with this feature? Many people could have "movie hour" at different places where you could view movies you haven't seen yet and aren't sure about buying it.

Sorry, but a few things incorrect about what you said.

(1) Sony never "hyped" it -- it is the users and reviewers who did all the "hyping". Some of these users didn't know what Home is to begin with. All Sony did was say that they are developing it -- in the absence of tv commercials, Superbowl ads, etc., I find it hard to believe that you call what they did as "hyping".

(2) The word "delay" implies that something was promised on some date and it was then *delayed* after. Sony never promised a date -- at least, not a date 2 years ago. No company delays software "on purpose" because the longer it takes, the later it is for Sony to see the "fruits of their labor".

(3) Home could not have been released when PS3 was launched. It is hard to build a system where multiple simultaneous users can connect and not crash the system.

(4) Home is already free. On top of that, you want more freebies?

I had fun, you know why? Because I didn't had Humongous amounts of hype.

people keep saying its a beta its a beta, but i think they forget what betas are. there to test bugs. yes in the early early stages of beta testing there are some tweeks to gameplay minor ones but the game pretty much finalized. where in a open beta, what u see is pretty much what your gonna get. they can add onto it wiht updates and addons but this is basically home. yeah its kind of fun but it just makes doing stuff way more difficult then it needs to.

i think its great that they took a risk with home, i don't think it will pay off for them but at least they're trying some new stuff. ultimately more then anything the 3 gig of space it takes up makes me think it wont last very long. its too much space for such little content if u ask me. also its been two years if this is all theyve done in two years i don't think anoht erhalf a year or another year at that will garner much more especially since they got a lot of technical issues to deal with mostly on the content side.

Loads have said it already - but the reason it isn't loaded with features is because it's a Beta.

I've no doubt at all that the finished product will have a whole lot more features

That's the thing though. They could say "distributing in a public area". I have a feeling they'll try to pull some kind of BS sooner or later. They could say it's simular to what Youtube was doing before the big stink started with that. These pigs like to control everything if they don't get a dime out of it.

its a beta... ie.. not the finished product... when you play a demo for a game do you really think that the full game is as short as the demo? americahellyeah
