Yeah i saw that already, wasnt to happy about it but u know if it takes them that long to make it safe for everyone well so be it. Heck the online play could be up sooner then that but no one really knows and neither does sony. Just a longer waiting game then really anyone thought it would be.

How crazy would it be if the PSN gets shut down permanently...I know there's a good chance it won't happen, but it would be the **** debacle of the decade.

what i think they mean by this is that every feature will be up by may 31st. Psn should be up sooner ( i believe this week or next week ) n ps store n all those other online thing will take a little longer.. because if they claim to be in the final stages it wont take 20 days to get it up..cheddar462

This. Bet the PSN Store won't be up unti May 31st. But online will be restored by this weekend.

did they get hacked again right when they were about to put things back online?

i dont understand why they bothered telling the public it might be back up sometime last week

when they probably thought it won't be back till june.

giving us another 'guesstimation' indicates that they clearly have ZERO idea when it's coming back.

People need to stop expecting these things to be happen because Sony have said so and so will be back up on this day then that day and they were wrong a few times.

I think they meant full functionality (psn store) will be up on May 31st. Online portion is rumored to be up this week.

If this means they are trying to bring it ALL back ALL at once (store, online gaming etc) then fine, the store was not going to be up till the end of the month anyway. If this means they once again are wasting everyone's time just like they have been for the last 3 weeks, then its NOT OK.

One things for sure, you ll be able to count on one hand the number of people who will put their CCs on their account. I never had mine on it, and in fact this fiasco prompted me to take my CC OFF my Itunes account, cant be too safe.
