The 60GB already had a price cut and I dunno if it will be getting another one so hurry and go grab it! It's the best out of all the PS3s.

Well i am disappointed with 40GB. I have 60 PS2 games, i guess i should just throw them?! And dont give me that crap "play it on your PS2".

I will have to wait for some cheaper model that is not crippled. And trust me many will after this "no BC". You just cant ignore that feature when there are over 120 million PS2 owners out there.Vojkan80001

apparantely the 80gb ps3s have a PS2 part called the graphics synthesizer.... this (in addition to the emotion engine) has apparantely been removed as well, so the 40gb will NOT be PS2 compatible... at all. I think its still compatible with PSone games strangely enough. Wow, i was really excited about this upcoming announcement and then no BC really ruins things. They can kiss playstation brand loyalty goodbye... They shoulda just removed wifi and made an external adapter for that keeping the BC... huge longterm mistake IMO.

It does seem like the 60gig is the best of the bunch. I am just sick off all these new sku numbers coming out all over the place. Nintento got it right with one sku, and one price point. No problems and veryfew complaints, but it didnt stop me from getting my PS3 on day one and I'm loving every minute of it(well not every, but you get the point).
