Sony should really have released the Back to the Future game all at once

instead of one chapter each month over 5 months. When the first chapter was released, I was excited, but I didn't buy it because my plan was to wait until all 5 chapters were available. But lately, I've just been losing interest in the game while I wait. Now I don't really even want it any more. If they had just released it all at once, they could have had my money (and I'm sure there are a lot of people who feel the same way which means Sony will be losing their sales too).

Not a very clever strategy if you ask me.

I'm pretty sure it was the developers (Tell Tale) who choose to release the episodes this way. Plus, they could be releasing them separately because they use the time in between to develop the next episode. Lastly - why are you waiting for all of them to come out before you play them?!

Which is exactly why I don't bother buying the game until all episodes are released. I really dislike playing the game in sections every month.

It's episodic. Releasing it in parts is how the developer, not Sony, intended it to be.

I'm a huge BTTF fan. Maybe if the voice of Marty was actually done by Michael J. Fox, I'd still be excited. But the voice actor who plays him isn't very good IMO. Sometimes he sounds like Fox, but other times not at all.

Why? Each game is a standalone game. You wouldn't wait until Mass Effect 3 is released before buying 1 and 2.

The episodes certainly don't feel like standalone games to me. I feel like I'm playing a demo every month.

If you havent got the game...how exactly do you feel like your playing a demo every month?

Plus, so you dont want to have to wait each month to get another episode...and thats fine, like you said others probably feel the same way. But at the same time its still the way the developer intended on releasing it and my guess is the majority of people who want it will still buy it.

I am pretty sure each chapter is not meant to be a stand alone game. That's why they sell all 5 chapters for an advanced price of $20. It's no different than any other game that has chapters or levels. And I have no doubt that there are plenty of people who have or will buy it, but I'm also sure that the developer will lose a percentage of sales because of the way they chose to release it.
