I hope for an option where even if I do things that gets me trophy, I don't get it.
I don't want people to know that I have no life.
lol... but that "ting" is the best part about the trophies.SuperMario254yep. the child inside me leaps with joy.
I wish I could disable trophies altogether. I started inFamous on my lil bro's PS3. I am almost done with my first playthrough, and when I tried to transfer my save data to my PS3, it won't let me. I assume this is because of trophies and they don't want people getting them this way. It kind of sucks imo.
ye the ting sound is awesome and the di-ling sound after you kill some1 online in kz2 is awesome too :D
i really dont understand ur point here... does that 2 seconds that the notification is on the screen really take anything away from your game experience???TrevCubsOr21
Sorry but bad idea... i love that noise... plus its for like 4 seconds... your making a big deal out of nothing.
There is nothing more satisfying after hearing a ting noise after working for ages at a hard trophy. :)

i like the sound myself. in fact everytime i hear it, it makes me think of little fairies dancing and frolicking around in all their fairy glory
Trophies are fun and all but sometimes I would just like to play a game without being told in the form of a tone that I achieved yet another trophy. I think trophies are a great idea but Sony should allow users to have a choice whether to have a notice on trophies achieved or not. By disabling the trophies in games you can still get them but you wont be told unless you go to to the trophy section in the XMB. Anyway agree?are you crazy? that little "ting" sound is what dreams are made of.
Come on Sony make this happen!Swift_Boss_A

Stopped at a set of traffick lights - TING!
Looked out the left window 25 times during one driving session - TING!
Listened to a whole song on a cd without skipping - TING!
Just joking, but i love the trophy noise!

If you were logged in under your username in the PSN, it will transfer over. As far as the trophy notification goes, I don't see why not having a notification would be a big deal...but I also don't see why you wouldn't want the "ding of awesomeness". Heck i've done a lot of challenges just to get that "ding".I wish I could disable trophies altogether. I started inFamous on my lil bro's PS3. on the contrary, i wish the notification was longer and more noticeable. Also, am i the only one who wants a notification for when ur gamer level goes up? I went from level 4 to level 5 and didnt even know it til i looked
