I blought the PSP i loved it, still do.

BUT, sony how stupid can you get? want more money sony, then try this...

1.get rid of the fact u need WIFI to play a PSP online. Being able to play the PSP via a normal router without having to buy some emulater or something. i know at lest 7 people who DIDNT buy a PSP because they couldnt play online with having to go into town to the LAN cafe.

2. Have some inbuilt memory, 32mb external card is annoying, if you added a 64mb in built HDD. that would have boost sales.I know i didnt want to spend that much money to get a 1gig card then fill it with music and fine i no longer have my save games.

3.Sony is brining out a camera for PSP. seen how big it is? well thats not gonna boost sales one bit. having a giant camera sitting ontop of the PSP will annoy the berjeebers outta anyone. then carrying it around, when u wanna take a picture quickly, ure gonna have to pull it out, turn of the PSP, connect, load up the software or whatever it gonna need. by then the moment is over. shoulda included a camera in the stock PSP or forget the idea. youve just wasted alot of money there too.

4. With the new PSP. theres nothing new bout it. its slimmer and lighter. it looks better. but, what else does it do? has a fancy new battery, YAY. i reckon u shoulda done all of the above to the new PSP. then i would sell my old PSP and buy the new one.

I agree with you partially on 3 of your 4 points.

4. Thinner, Lighter, Better buttons and d-pad, 64mb built in memory instead of 32 for faster game loading, Video output, smaller and equally efficient battery, improved UMD slot mechanism, more colors, etc.

A camera would increase the price, and it would probably be sub-par anyway.

God ppl are picky, you don't like it, then don't buy it. I doubt this new psp will have any problem selling.

Putting a HDD into a handheld console isn't the best idea because they are prone to shock damage and would make the PSP weigh more. If they were going to do that then it would have to be a SSD (solid state disk) aka flash memory.

Eh? What are you talking about? I have no idea what you are talking about, nor do I think you do. How can you play wireless online without wi-fi you moron? What do you meanby a 'normal router', you don't need to go into an online cafe to play online, all you need is a wireless router in your home. Emulator? Since when did you need to buy an emulator for online, You are a true fool.

1 WiFi is the way to go period, Arouter please, added weight and more dumb cables to deal with

2. The Memory Sticks take away from added weight of a harddrive the best way to go

Flash memory is what's used in USB flash drives and some MP3 players, it can be used to store things permanently just like a normal hard drive. Putting any kind of hard drive whether it be traditional or a SSD in a PSP would increase the price and probably make the PSP slightly bigger. They would also have to redesign the inside of the PSP, which of course they wouldn't want to do again. Some IPods do use HDDs but they are just a prone to damage as any other drive. The manual for any HDD mp3 player will state not to drop it, shake it etc etc.

I agree...he didn't know what he was talking about, and his friends obviously don't know anything either... He obviously has the internet, and all that he needs other than that is a wireless router...which you can go pick on up for like $30 or so. He obviously doesn't know what an emulator is either... This is just a pointless ramble by someone who doesn't have all of the facts and only reads half of the story...he doesn't even know what all the new psp features.... Ugh, there no reason for you to complain on these forums right now...you should be asking questions/reading first before you do that!

1. Most people already have wireless routers anyway.

2. Why put a 64 MB HDD. That doesn't make sense. At least 1GB.

3. Just becuase the camera is out doesn't mean you have to buy it. It's there to help Sony make a profit.

4. It's not a new PSP, it's a redesigned PSP. So it has mostly the same features. Also, you forgot the point of video out.

I think I know what he means buy emulator, but don't be mad if I'm wrong. With Nintendo consoles you can still connect to the Internet wirelessly if you have a modem connection with this thing Nintendo released, called the Wi-Fi USB connector, meaning you don't have to mess around with routers and what not. But he might not since I know there are one's which are out. Also you can hack the Nintendo Wi-Fi thing to act as a router, another reason why I may be wrong.

If you don't like it, don't buy it. If you don't like Sony or whatever relating to them, don't complain about them, go write it on a piece of paper or on your blog - that's what it's there for - keep it off the forum please.

They're adding all kinds of stuff so it should work out better now - so maybe you'll have less to complain about - then again, you'll find more defects or problems. But do keep it off the forum.

1. You don't need WIFI to play online, wireless internet is WIFI. Unless your router is from like the 90's it should run through your psp. What do you want them to do, make an ethernet port? Get real.

2. IF you can't figure out how to get your saves from card to card you really shouldnt own a games console. Period. And to have a built in HDD would increase size, making it not portable. It's hardly the most portable handheld as it is.

3. It doesn't need any software, it takes as much time to get to take a picture on a mobile, only its way better quality. You don't own a camera, since you don't even know how to run it. You just load up your psp, and go onto camera. Just like a phone, because you don't own one, you can't comment on size. Which is tiny. Alot of people don't want to lug around a games system AND a camera, when you can just have both and have the pics ready saved to your psp card to show your friends? Hell it's a cheep camera if you already own a psp too.

4. Yeah the new psp is a waste of time, but most new consoles don't come with any extra features. Most are just size differences. The new psp does alot more things btw, tv out - watch UMDs in the living room and on the go. tv tuner - watch tv on the go. ATM it's only japanease but it's likely to come out in the USA, like the camera did. It's got a better UMD door, making it lighter. And of course it has faster loading and better battery.
