I'm starting not to like it. The fan is starting to become a problem.Also it bricked on me when i got the update for Uncharted 2. So unless they fix that it's the worst system ever because i really wanna play uncharted2 i bought it was excited then when i updated it brick.

I feel your pain man, that happened to my friend's ps3 too.. it sucks so bad hes angry at sony something about they wont let him send it in idk

they are not denying you have a problem there just saying you past your warrenty and you need to pay for us to fix it. They can't have unlimited warrenty. I know it sucks.

so its about 2 or 3 years old? Also Microsoft doesn't love thir community, their a business so is Sony.If they really loved their business then they would give everone a free 360.

Just to let you know that if you had a 360 and it breaks and it's not the RROD, or E74 disc read error they(M$) makes you pay for it also if it's out of warrenty.

idk bout that... i sent in my box for repair back in august and the warranty had expired on it back in march but they fixed it for free and also payed for shipping..

I had a similar problem. The BD drive on my PS3 stopped working. Because it was out of warranty, Sony said I would have to pay for a refurbished PS3. They didn't give a ****. I didn't want to buy another refurb from them so I sold my faulty PS3 and put the money toward the cost of a Slim. It was a great move. The Slim is much better IMO and I got the stores three year warranty when I bought it. If at any time, over the next three years, anything happens to the PS3 or controller, I can just take it back to the store and swap it for a new one. No questions asked. Maybe you should do the same.

But that's only because they KNOW their system has had breakdowns in major numbers. If the 360 never had RROD, there wouldn't be such a massive warranty extension.
