MS didn't do anything but speculate hype that MGS rising was 360 exclusive when it wasn't. They also showed sequels to games that was already expected like Forza 3, Left 4 Dead 2, Crackdown 2, and Halo spinoff. I can't believe L4D is already having a sequel despite only being out for 7 months or so.
Sony win's E3 because they had games that people were intersted in like God of War 3 and the Team Ico game, while showing new things like FF14 and Modnation Racers. Nintendo didn't show much but new games to franchises already known like 2 mario games and metroid. The new metroid is cool because it goes back to what metroid originally was but Nintendo is relying too much on 3 franchises to keep the core interested which bores me a little even though it will still be cool. I need more than Mario, Metroid and Zelda. Sony has Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted 2, MAG, Demon Souls, Katamari Forever, and Afrika coming out in 09, which are all fairly diverse in their genre's we have one FPS, one 3rd FPS/action game, one RPG, One unique adventure game, one platformer, one casual game. It sucks that Heavy Rain and White Knight won't make it out this year, but they will probably be out early next year. In that case, there will be another RPG. a cinematic action game, in the spring of 2010, there will be the anticipated hack and slash God of War 3 and long awaited racing sim Gran Turismo 5. Not to mention we have got our niche RPG fix through cross edge and open world adventure game infamous, while also getting Killzone 2. Overall other than getting screwed out of star ocean, the PS3 has had a better year for games so far.
The only thing the other 2 companies have going for them is their fanbase. Even though I feel 400 is worth what you get in the PS3, Sony Needs to make the price come down. If they could get the 40GB down to 300, then they could give MS a run for money, since they have the stronger lineup.
