Sony has an IP that they are not paying attention to that might be a draw for their platform and online sevice. What makes Halo so great? I'll tell you- it has one of the most kick butt online multiplayer frag fest, period. I love Halo but I don't like to hear Sony and the PS3 get bashed as much as it has. Anyway I was reading about developer Incognito possibly spliting up with Sony after Warhawk is Completed. It makes me wonder why the hell Hasn't a Twisted Metal game been made for the PS3 or even optioned? You are not going to compete with Halo on the FPS front so why not focus on your own innovative properties like Twisted Metal for instance. If this game was refined for the next gen of consoles with its addictive car combat gameplay, it would bring so much attention to Sony's online community and that's where Sony has to compete with M$. Don't get me wrong, HOme looks great but I rather be playing a great online multiplayer game than buying clothes for my avatar. TWISTED METAL ALL THE WAY!!!
I personally don't get the fuss about Halo (and why it needs to be "killed" is beyond me) its not really the god of a game everyone made it up to be. but i don't get it either, i mean who in their right mind wouldn't want a sequel to Twisted metal black, i mean think of the next gen carnage? Sweet Tooth + Next Gen = bada$$
I prefer to think of all the "eased" ratings. Seriously, what was illegal and not allowed to be put in games a couple years back is laughed upon now. I can only begin to imagine how twisted it'd really be.
I sadly, by the time I bought my PS2, never got to pick up Black because it was out of print. I did however get my friend to rent it once.
Only stupid kids with short attentions spans think Halo's the best game on earth. Halo is NOT, I repeat NOT the best online frag fest ever. I have for PC, I've played better honestly.
First, nothing will kill Halo except itself. Second, First Person Shooters have a lot more mass appeal than Car Combat games. Third, how can an old IP all of the sudden be a killer anything? Twisted Metal Black didn't kill Halo. Twisted Metal Head On didn't kill Halo. Twisted Metal cant even kill Mario Kart. It's a good game, but its nothing new or revolutionary.Â

 Im w/ you on that, i bought into the Halo, Halo 2 Craze, and i actually bought a xbox for those 2 games, It wasnt anything major to me, i dont get it, just my personal opinion. Maybe it would of been more fun to me if the supposed aliens or whatever, looked real..  but its collecting dust in my closet..  Â
yeah i think only halo will be able to kill halo,but i think twisted metal would be good for ps3 i also think sony needs to stop playing follow the leader to win the race
