im in need of a good shooter out right now, and i want to know what shooter would be the best on the ps3 right now.

Resistance is definately worth a try, it has a fairly lengthy SP campaign and 40 player MP. The Orange Box is also essential (5 games in 1) and there's Unreal Tournament 3.

Call of Duty 4, Orange Box, Resistance

That's about it.

I enjoy every shooter I have but I'll say the ones I like the most : Call of Duty 4 , Orange Box , Rainbow Six Vegas 2 , Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 , Haze , Resistence.The other ones I got and you will bash me for that are : turok and soldier of fortune lol.

Just to let you know the incomings ( less than a month ) are : Battlefield:Bad Company , Quake Wars and MGS4

This year : Brother in Arms : Hell's Highway , Project Origins , Resistence 2 , Socom:Confrontation , I know there are other ones but these seem to be the ones worth mentioning.If there is any other let me know!

call of duty 4 sounds good, but with already gta 4 out and mgs 4 coming out will online be kinda empty?supa_badman

Nope. The MGO beta sucked, so I doubt that will be a big seller. Besides I think that only a sample comes with MGS4.

People still play COD4 online, you won't have any trouble.
