well..even if they did buy rockstar, i dont hate them. EA may be bad about putting out yearly versions of there games, with a few touchups, but they at least release playable games

I'll second that one. Although the yearly release of the same game over and over is silly, no one's making us buy them. And they tend to be mostly reliable.
i remember that they used to make good games butnow everthinbgs just sequels ( Tony Hawk, Medal of Honor, Sims). I relize that its not easy to make new games but with EA its always just the saame thing that somehow seems to get worse everytime. Now some of the recent games ohavent been terrible but but there isnt much new to them, just better graphics. I havnt had a maden for ps3 yet, but sll the sports games are practiclay the same thing, but hey why change if peple are gonna buy them anyway ( yes im guilty of that). Medal of Honor has gone down the drain ( the last one wasnt terrible, but it wasnt any COD) Well maybe that opens up the future for smaller companied to be recognized

Honestly, EA is just trying to compete with Activision Blizzard now. Ive never really liked the fact that EA thinks that they are the best only cause they have money. Its very sad that if Rockstar takes this deal, then it shows that people go wherever there is money, and they don't realize that if EA messes with their games, then they are actually loosing money in the long run because they might actually make **** games. EA cuts corners, they develop to fast, only develop sequals most of the time. Rockstar should stay independant because they make more than enough money on their games as is, EA will only push them and rush them for faster releases and it makes their games bad.
I hate this. Developers should stay where they are.
i dont hate them until they buy out rockstar. but once they do then i mostly will.
but what they think of "if we release it during the holiday season we will have more sales." thats so bulls***. because theyd sell the same if there games where actually good.
i know they dont even put any thought into what it is that they are doing they just put some cheaply manufactured game out on the market that is not even fun and is really shallow.
i really dont care, never loved EA but never really hated them. And same could be said about the GTA series.I dont see the big deal about this, GTA4 is already finished so theres really no use in worrying. Also im hearing all this talk about all EA does is make sequels that dont change much from the originals. Same couls also be said about GTA series after GTA3 all of the rest have basically been the same game with some tweaked graphics and few changes that are expected from sequels. But tbh GTA4 was supposed to be a PS3 exclusive but they screwed us over on the deal so let EA have em as far as im concerned.
I like some of their games such as Burnout and AoT. However, those are just a few gleaming diamonds in the swamp of crap.
EA is just a big company. If they have money, then they're going to use it. If you buy their games, they're going to make more money. And the cycle continues.
