Well if they put rumble in the sixaxis of course they are gonna have to do something to the sensor so it doesn't messes up when the controller rumbles.fistoflight
rumble doesn't affect motion control. the Wiimote has rumble and motion sensing.
the updated tilt sensors is to fix the deadzones that some people were experiencing with their SIXAXIS.
Nice, I bought a PS2 to PS3 adapter (which works great) so I'll be pouncing on this when it gets released. ScreamDream
Yes this news is old and most if not all people know about it. This is great since alot of consumers wanted the controller feedback when playing games, others could care less. IMO i think its a cool idea to bring it back due to the high demand. With added features its gonna be better than before.
And yes the adapter does work, i purchased one and it works great! Not to mention the fact that i saved around 30-40 dollars rather than buying a new sixaxis

Actually in the past one of sony's reason for not making a deal for rumble was the rumble was gonna interfere with the systems motion sensor...(And of course the law suit didn't help at all) However they develop a force feed back system now which won't interfere with the rumble. SOmething similar to the wii controls like you said I bet.

The Wiimote rumble is very weak though, compared to the DuelShock Controller. So hopefully it is more powerful than the Wii rumble.

When you say adaptor do you mean using a ps2 controller on the PS3? i haven't seen those yet.
