I think its doubtful. In an interview with the Designer way back when for SC3, he said he didn't like to do the same thing twice, thats why they didn't do it for 3.
SC3 was great, if they remade it for PS3 with better graphics and ust added more items and stages, fighters etc itd be perfect, oh and an online match like MK
Soul Calibur is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE 3D fighting franchise. I can make due with Virtua Fighter and Tekken, and even Mortal Kombat sometimes (though Armageddon was kind of sucky), but SC has true ownership over my heart. I really want to see bigger, more interactive, destructable environments in SC4. No more of this crap where they stick you on a tiny platform in the middle of a cool environment. THEY SHOULD LET YOU FIGHT IN THE ENVIRONMENT ITSELF! And then, let loose some massive blowupage with the Havok engine when you're knocking things around, and maybe even use the Euphoria animation engine for when your character is taking a hit (the engine allows for seamless alternation between pre-animated and synthesized movement). And I know it's kind of a longshot for them to include an online mode, but I hope they at least have the option to display and trade custom characters online, assuming that feature makes a return. And if it does in fact refurn, I hope that they make it better, with custom faces, heights, and more convincing costume construction.
