[QUOTE="Denji"]i dont really think it sucks, but i do not really like it, But ya Why would they add star wars charaters to Soul caliber 4, like wtf, whos idea was it to do thatOne question....why???
I guess I'm the only person here who thinks Star Wars sucks lol

I don't know, just the bloody thing is so over hyped and I don't see what the big deal is. Star Wars movies make me want to fall asleep lol
But it seems we're going to see a cameo appearence in every second Soul Calibur. So what big name is going to be in Soul Calibur 6? Jet Li? Solid Snake using CQC? lol
Two things about this that suck.
1. There are so many other Charecters they could of added into this game other than Star Wars Charecters, which I think are completely out of place in this game.
2. I think I would of perfered Yoda on the PS3 rather than Vader. Don't get me wrong, Vader is cool and all, but who wouldn't want a toad hopping, force blasting, little green power house dude on there system?

Heck, might aswell throw Chuck Norris in the game while they're at it too:?

Hey! If they threw in Chuck Norris it would be to cheap, cause the only one who could go up against Norris would be Norris. Otherwise one Norris punch would be an instant KO/RO to everyone else.

lol, that song is awesome
SW characters in Soul Calibur IV actually makes this game less appealing to me. I'm a long time fan of the series and I think it kinda ruins the game to have Star Wars characters. . . . . I mean come on. I feel like the history of Star Wars doesn't mix well with the history of Soul Calibur. I would have rather seen Capcom's Onimusha or Devil May Cry characters. For the Record I'm a big Star Wars fan but I don't feel right about this move but hey i'm only one single opinion of many.ColdScorpion
I'm not crazy about Star Wars, but I feel it's a classic. Personally, having Yoda and Vader in these games, isn't really bad, but just don't make them part of the main story.
And I totally agree on the Onimusha and Devil May Cry characters, they would freaking own the SC peeps, (especially Vergil)
im stoked about this coz Darth vader is honestly a really cool character. the only real reason he is out of place, is that you never saw him pulling ninja flips in the Star Wars movies, and his sword is a lazer beam..thing.
i agree its pretty cliche of them to do this, but its smart, would greatly boost sales. Soul Calibur 2 was awesome (i have the gamecube version) but i mean..simple fighting-game stories aside, its a fighting game. Darth suits it more than Yoda, he's got the dark, distant background and has that medieval feel to him, only from another galaxy.

Not true. Bruce Lee will always be above Norris. They could have Bruce Lee in the game, the only man who can beat him. lol
Well, when you put it that way... me.[...]Who wouldn't want a toad hopping, force blasting, little green power house dude on their system?

Haven't played Soul Calibur since the first one on the Dreamcast, but that's really cool. Funny how suddenly Darth Vader sucks in the eyes of 360 fanboys. I think they're both cool, doesn't matter they don't fit in, I mean you have samurais, knights, Greek chicks, giant boob ladies, ninjas, freaks and monsters. You have to be pretty hardcore to really be bothered by Star Wars at this point.

lol yeah exactly. like i said, at the end of the day they are really cool characters, who cares what universe they are from.

Well I guess Yoda being green/ XBox being green
Darth Vader is black/ PS3 is black..
That's my guess anyways lol
I don't like Soul Calibur really, I'll play it, but not too much. But as outrageous as it seems, Vader is by far the best of the two additions. I hate Yoda with a passion, and I am sorry, some people might call me dumb for it, but I don't find a guy that thinks knows it all cool at all, specially when he had the galaxy's worst enemy sitting in front of him for so long and never realized it. Either Palpatine is awesome, or Yoda is just not really all that attuned to the force as he claims to be.
Though I do agree with most people that Onimusha characters would be more in place. But think about it, is Namco. Just look at the rooster of Tekken characters and you'll see they couldn't care less about off the wall or out of place characters. And it makes sense from a business point of view. Now, hardcore fans of SW, who really didn't think of SC all that much will probably buy it. And keeping both characters in the different systems will force those who really want to play as both (most likely hardcore SW and SC fans) to buy both versions, which is really nothing unheard off, as lots of people already buy all versions of a game anyway.
