Soul Calibur4... are you in?

How many have this pre-ordered or plan on buying it? Anyone know is the apprentice also on PS3 version? I haven't Played sould Calibur since it came out on the dreamcast so I'm wondering what all does the game still offer? Are there a lot of unlockable new characters or old ones? And you can compete online now right? that should be pretty awesome tho some people who play fighting games are just too hardcore about it so I'll probably get whooped... Are there online stats for like wins/losses?

Wow, I am the only one that has said no so far. I'll buy a fighting game once in a long while but SCIV just seems like all the other fighters out there. I think for me I would need to care about who the fighters are. In SCIV the characters just seem too cliche (excluding Darth Vader). Now if an Avatar fighting game came out I'd probably buy it day one, lol.Zidaneski

Yeah thats for sure. But c'mon its all about the concept. I wanna play as Combustion man and blow things up with my mind!:twisted:. Bloodbending would be awesome as well. How I long for the day!!! Fighting game with characters I don't know beforehand = no sale.

i was in. but then i changed my mind. i had it pre ordered. but then i changed it for ps3 madden 09.

reasons

1. i know i will get frustrated with this game.

2. i have never played sc game until i bought the original game off xbla

3. im a noob more or less to fighting games in general.

4. i might get it later but with my time between bad company, 08 the show, plus madden 09 and then lbp i just wont be interested in this game. so i hope everyone that loves this series enjoys its and i hope it lives up to your guys hype and i hope to see you guys online in something else like lbp.

thats fine he has his opinion and i have mine. atleast im not going to low route and dissing on a game im interested in not to mention i said why i changed my mind. plus i said or i think i did that i would atlest rent the game. i dont want to spend 60 dollars on a game and regret it. sc4 might be that for me because of the previous said. thats all. enjoy guys and kick some but with vader!!!

That's different. I go outside and play too. I throw Shotput and Discus for Northern Arizona University, and play Basketball and Football with my friends when possible.

But in Arizona, it's not always so nice out. Today it was 115 degrees with about 60% humidity, so playing sports isn't so pleasant. But I can call my friends over and we can play some Madden together.

And you can't really play at Midnight either... (too dark, park lights turn off at 10:30 :()

Plus, Soul Calibur is geeky. Madden is manly ;) Girls dig sports over stupid fighters any day

Its hard to find a pretty decent to hot looking girl that enjoys videogames more than casualy. Soulcalibur isnt geeky, i had some b!tches over erm... I mean ladies over at my dorm once playing soulcalibur 3 and they had lots of fun.

I don't think so. She came over the day I got Rock Band and was interested, so we play, and ended up playing the whole night. Then she came over another night and saw me playing Call of Duty 4 and was interested so we played that.

Besides, I'm not looking for a girl who's a "hardcore" gamer, since even I'm not. But as long as she enjoys them and is open to playing them I'm fine :)

favorite fighting games of all time, best to play this game with your friends or cousins, I usually play soul calibur with my brothers and I get so frustrated evrytime he uses raphael's vertical attack, it took me awhile to figure out how to beat my brother using raphael and pressing triangle the whole round, now he cant use that cheap tactics on me anymore lol, but I want heihachi back tho
