I haven't tried Web of Shadows, but SD isn't a bad game at all.

I've only played Web of Shadows and I liked it a lot. It's free roam and its a blast swinging around the city and fighting in mid-air, bouncing between your enemies. The boss fights are great aswell and it has a karma-system that lets you decide weather to be good or bad (classic red and blue suit vs. black symbiote suit) I defenitly recommend it if you are a Spider-Man fan.
