I've been a huge splintercell fan since the first game so yes.. but I doubt I'd like this one based on the new direction the devs said they'll be going with it...but still, I wouldn't mind giving it a go.
Most likely MS have paid for exclusivity for a short period of time, i mean all the SC games where multi-plat so it makes no sense for SCC to be any different.
Would love to see it on PS3 ASAP. I loved the last 4 games and definitely as a fan of the franchise i would love to see the day where it sees the PS3's light.

IMO it's a very stupid decision to keep it an XBOX/PC exclusive if you ask me.

I agree, they're going to all of this trouble trying to relaunch the franchise and make it appeal to a wider audience, while cutting off half the potential sales by making it exclusive!
From their comments it sounds like the next one at least will be multiplatform, but by not offering this one on the PS3 they're seriously hurting the future sales of the series on Sony's system. This is assuming they don't port Conviction over within a reasonable amount of time of course.
My only guess is that Ubi was in need of a cash injection during development.
I have mixed feelings about it. Looks like a fun game but it doesn't look like a Splinter Cell game. I'm gonna miss the old ones that's for sure. Chances are though it won't stay an Xbox 'exclusive' for long. Give it time and it'll be on the PS3; hopefully it'll be a decent port when it does come.
Watch the ghost recon ps3 trailer and in the bottom in small print it says Ps3 is a trade mark of sony and splinter cell conviction is trade marked by ubisoft. werid they would say that when its not on ps3.
