Splinter Cell Trilogy and PoP trilogy heading for NA PSN and Blu-Rays!!! :D

The collection contains high-definition remasters of Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory on a single disc. It will also have an integrated 3D stereoscopic view.

Ubisoft additionally announced the Prince of Persia ****c Trilogy HD, which contains PS2 ****cs Prince of Persia The Sands of Time, Prince of Persia Warrior Within and Prince of Persia The Two Throne, is also getting a Blu-ray release.

The collection was previously released only through PlayStation Network in North America. It, too, will also have 3D stereoscopic support.

Both collections will be in stores on March 22, 2011 for $39.99."

I probably should pick those up sometimes. I only played the first Splinter Cell before (loved it) and I beat the Sands of Time at least 3 times back when I had a Ps2. Played the Two Thrones for a few hours and was so disgusted with it I gave it back and never finished it :P

Still I'm personally waiting on the Team ICO collection

Glad I hesitated in buying the PoP games. I was disappointed that NA wasn't getting a retail copy.

Edit: Does anyone know if these Splinter Cell games will be the PS2 or Xbox versions? I heard the PS2 versions aren't that good.

Cool. However I'm still waiting for a release date for the Team ICO Collection, the only collection I'm really interested in.

My wallet is going to be empty by the time spring hits around. :( I'm quite happy that PoP is coming to NA on disc. I just simply don't have enough room on my hard drive and prefer an actual case over DLC.

They are nothing alike. People that like conviction might have issues with the older games and vice versa Chaos theory is a really the best entry and the series and was way ahead of it's time in gameplay and graphics imo. It could pass for a game that was released this gen. Im glad PlayStation fans aer getting to exp it the way it was meant to be(xbox/pc ver not the crappy ps2 ver). Im guessing the online modes are there is well? If so then it truly is a great collection.

I will proably get splinter cell. Hope they come out hitman or import more sleath games

I believe so, only in higher resolution and of course better textures/lighting.

In all honestly, I want to play again Pandora Tomorrow mostly. Outside of outstanding Metal Gear Solid series, I love Splinter Cell.

I love these collection discs and the value of them. I will pick up both of these.

I want to play them. They are a lot harder than Conviction (which I'm playing right now, high reccomendation) and I know some of the gameplay is different, but the premise is the same. I'm stoked, I hope this also leads to Ubisoft announcing Conviction for the PS3, a man can dream right.

I bought the first two Prince of Persia games off PSN. Now I want a $29.99 refund lol.
