I was surprised thatBertrand to be one of and the leader of the swamp monsters. I also did not expect the beast to be John.

What was it that surprised you?

I liked his new voice better.

probably the same thing you mentioned about the beast being john...i didnt expect the good ending that happened though....at least not from this type of game is all....i love it when they sacrifice the main character or something like that...Eazy1891

I find that with his new voice he could crack a joke once in a while. With his old voice I can't imagine that. His old voice seems more serious and Batman like.

That whats his face was the Mr. Manhatton aka the BEAST!! Kuo losing it at the very end and flipping out. Zeke being awesome the entire game. Nix being the "good one" at the end when it all counted. Cole dieing.

Zeke wasn't the obnoxious, fat, and selfish conspiracy theorist we had grown to loathe in the original...TheFallenDemon

So Cole isn't dead? What did i miss? I picked the ending to use the RFI which killed off all conduits.

Everything in the bad ending, just amazing.

Zeke was an amazing character. Then Killing him.

The beast being john. I was waiting for another twist that john was joking.

crap, i just spoiled the Evil Karma ending (which i havent done yet, i only finished the Good karma part of the game)

The thing that surprised me the most was the ending decision. Either destroy all humans and awaken all conduits ot destroy all conduits to let humanity survive. Both endings were completely differen and fantastic.

I actually thought John would be the beast very early on in the game. Near the beginning, Kuo states that John and her were assigned to infultrate the first sons because they were conduits. I knew Kuo would get ice powers given the trailers released and figured John ended up becoming the beast because of the ray sphere explosion that "tore him apart".
