Standard Definition TVs

Hey,

I played Xbox 360 on a standard definition TV for two years, mostly a 27'' Sony Trinitron. That is the TV I will be using for PS3. I have seen 360 on high def TVs, and find that the difference is there, but a standard def TV such as mine seems really good also. What do you guys/girls use for a TV, and do you find the difference between standard and high def THAT significant.

for the first year i had my ps3 i played on a 27" sdtv. in january i bought myself a 46" hdtv. the difference is incredible. it's not to say that the ps3 looks bad on a sdtv, but on a hdtv everything is brighter and crisper

There's is a very noticeable difference.. specially in the ps3, i've found that the xbox 360 doesnt suffer that much on a reg def tv even though there's a difference alright but the ps3 doesnt look to good its almost like a ps2 or something.....I play on a 52" hdtv or sometimes in a 24" pc monitor and in both of them it looks so good so if you have a decent monitor it would look a lot better in it that than on a regular tv!
