hello fellow readers,

i was trying to scoop some information down about what is happening to the most anticipated sequel

to battlefront 2 and one. if anyone knows anything about who it is under construction by and when

its coming would intesnsely awesome.

Last I heard Free Radical owned it but the owner of free radical is trying to sell it so free radical may not be doing it but if the do it will be a 360 exclusive.

Stuff happened. People got shut down. Fans screamed. Videos got leaked. Fans screamed some more. ---> I have no idea what's happening right now regarding its development though. Probably just hanging around until someone picks it up.

im pretty sure that's pretty much what it became or let's hope lucasarts have the "actual" BF sequel up their sleeves

I dont think that is supposed to be BF 3 just the sequel to the last psp BF that I cant recall the name of.

not sure about that, but i think that is the only BF coming out that's confirmed. arent they pretty much the same thing tho? havent played renegade squadron

Free Radical got shut down, and funsohng is right. The official word is that Rebellion picked it up and is turning it into a PSP exclusive. I hope that console versions are released too, because I was looking forward to it too. So right now all we can do is wait and hope.

Aint the same thing at all that I remember.And your right BF 3 has not been "officialy confirmed".

hopefully it will someday loved the first one even without the online. heck, it's the game that got me into star wars

Free Radical had been making it for 2 years, and then they stopped doing it. I think it is in hold for now, as there isn't any news of anyone taking over :(

last i heard lucas arts? gave the project to new devs since it was cheaper, they got shutdown and now they are screwed

Only BF3 I know is "Battlefield 3" baby :D.. but no, seriously, last I had heard, LA gave it to some dev cmopany that went under and when they went under Battlefront 3 kinda fell into the cracks aswell, so now it's lost as to who officially owns the IP for the battlefront series.

On Wikipedia, it says that Rebellion has taken over and it appears that the game will be released on all consoles, not just the PSP.

Isn't today Monday??? Also wasn't Pandemic the original developer of the series??? Everything is just rumors as of right now. (even the leeked footage) SW:Battlefront series was the best selling SW series. Mainly because it was a Star Wars game that even non fans could get into. They need to rinse and repeat already... If the games MP isn't 16vs16 or more I personally wouldn't pick it up. I want large scale battles!!!
