as long as the multi is great like in renegade squadron then im sold. I dont really care about the campaign or anything
Actually it is the graphics that I dont like, for some reason I expect much more from LucasArts. Force Unleashed looks much better so I dont really get why this one looks like its from 2006.
I didn't really enjoy it that much to be honest, the controls, I felt were terrible. Maybe I'll try it again soon-- it could just take getting use to. But I dont' know what it is about the demo... playing it made me feel dizzy with the way the camera moves around a such. But I did enjoy the fact space battles and the land battles take place on the same map.
I didn't like it. The biggest issue for me were the controls- neither offering works well. The alternate setting (which you can move the camera with the face buttons) would be ok if there was some kind of auto-lock on to assist with aiming. The face buttons can only do so much. The other standard control scheme sucks because the lock-on is total garbage. Instead of targeting the enemy you're currently looking at (or the closest to that effect), it just locks on randomly to vehicles. Sorry, that stormtrooper who's shooting me with his blaster is a little more important right than the AT-ST who isn't even looking in my direction. Too bad, because I really wanted to like this game. Are any of the older ones better in terms of controls?
I liked it. I especially liked the fact that they fixed the garbage Jedi controls from Renegade Squadron. What I mean is the fact that in RS the speed at which you advance when you attack is half the speed as the enemy your attacking is running backwards. I hated that. Still needs some polish but should be pretty good.
Gonna take a little gettin' used to, but it's not bad... dunno if it's a purchase, gonna have to play the demo a bunch more but so far I'm sorta unimpressed.

Sounds like it is gonna be yet another "decent" shooter. What i really hate about these game are target lock ons . Just keep it to the Syphon Filter style. That game had perfect controls and worked really well. The problem on that game are the servers...

As with ANY PSP online... I wouldn't be buying this game with the intent of playing it online, and I know that's one of the big "selling points"... but honestly if I get even lightly irritated it's game-over when it comes to cheaters ruining the online game. I can usually shake it off but I end up quiting out of games a LOT in the other online games I own and that just translates to No Fun. I would play this game, but only as a Campaign.
