in my opinion, SW:TFU weakness was the massive multiplatforming.. i mean.. i cant see other reason.. =S. the ps3 version seems endlessly limited.. many glitches and many "random" things.. that look like that were made in a rush.. i usually am not against multiplatform.. but i am when it causes a game with great potential like SW to become so limited.. =S

this is my opinion tho.. i may be completely wrong.. but noone try to convince me that this game doesnt seem like its being played in a ps2.. =S

(PS: i am totally aware that demos are unfinished products and theat the game experience might change.. but even so i expected better from it)

what do you guys think of this? and what you think that failed? and if you had any hopes for it or if you think it had any potential..

My only real beef with the game was the Force powers. Although they were great, I found it hard selecting what I wanted to use the force on.

For instance in the hangar, I wanted to use the force to bring down the TIE fighters but everytime I used it I ended up picking up one of those small crates. It required me to go up close to it and re-position myself countless times till I got a lock on it.

That's about it~

what?! the game is hottness!, being played on the ps2!? dude he can move TIE fighters with force and the physics are sweet..and did anybody use the force burst to blast the ships windows then all the equipment was getting sucked out by the air? i just hated the button sequences, they were to fast and i could never press them in time haha

if you were inteligent enough you would understand that if i think it had potential and it didnt fulfill my expectations, i'm not satisfied. just like was said before.. using the force was hard (i mean.. for a fast action game.. it's not well conceived i think..) for example.. and i found some other problems.. i didnt find the visuals that good.. at this stage ps3 games should have better graphics than it has.. what is your opinion about that? =S but i still do hope it manages somehow.. (many combos are seen in trailers so game experience will be far better i think.. either way i still think the demo disappointed =S)

I liked it, but most of its flaws had nothing to do with the multiplat. I thought the lock on system was iffy, and when attacking, you can't stop yourself from moving forward. Also, sometimes the force grip controls were awkward. Other than that, I liked it.

Don't think that platforming is the problem. I think it's that developers don't understand the importance of putting out a quality game, regardless of the platform.

Unleashed is fine but not inspiring, judging from the demo. But it doesn't separate itself from any other game. It still just running around beating or killing people. The AI seems clumsy and the graphics don't take full advantage of the cool force features.

I would have preferred to see the action slow down when you decide to throw something at somebody. Instead it just rushes through all the good stuff.

It's not platforming. Many exclusives are really bad games. Some developers just can't follow through completely on a good idea.

i agree the force powers were annoying to use(the "lock-on" system had a mind of its own) and it being a fast paced game the controls were confusing..but as far as the graphics go i thought it was great considering everyhting thats going on(background enviroments,framrate etc..

Look at tie fighter, aim with whatever the aim button is in PS3, use grip. lol

The whole glitches "random" things, that's because it's a demo but you already know that.
You see opinon's are opinon's and whatever you can't change them.

But if people say it's going to fail it's because it didn't get enough hype as it is.
But gameplay wise I enjoyed it, not all video games are gonna have the same controls so don't get lippy.
I had no problem with it (On the 360 version) so i'm fine

my only problem with the the demo was it seemed too short (it said 25 to 30 min but it seemed like 15) and their wernt enuf force powers to mess with, i mean force grip is cool and force push can be fun but where were all the others from the trailers. still i think it will be a fun game once it comes out.

I really enjoyed the demo. I can understand the setiments about the force powers, but I think the game is going to be very good.

i wish you could of used the sixaxis to control the force in SW! that would be awesome!, but since it was multiplatform they didnt want to make the ps3 version the special version :(.... screw you Lucasart!

they did it for wii.. they could have made it too for the ps3.. even tho i think it is better with buttons.. =S

i think it could of been great! if you can control the force with sixaxis... come on think about its better than the analog... trust me.

I think the multiplatform is the demosweakness. I have no reason to expect that this will be what the game itself will be like as a completed product. Also i'm expecting the upgrade of force powers to be pretty cool and will allow for some cool animations.

You got to admit the force thing is pretty cool

each time the teacher calls me out im used that against him or her, so now they thinkin twice about doing that :P

I wonder if you can choke hold in the game :P

I think the SIXAXIS has taught devs that motion sensing does not work with standard controllers, at long last. microsoft first tried it with the tiltpad for computers and motocross madness on Windows. Let's be honest, the motion sensing usage for ps3 games has without exception been useless. It tends to detract more than add to the experience because they somehow expect you to still be able to precisely press the various buttons and triggers while you're waggling it about.
