i've just finished the demo for the first time, and i'm so dissapointed with it. the force grab/throw mechanics are so archaic, and it sucks that you can't move when aiming projectiles. i'll give the demo a few more playthroughs just to see if i adjust to it at all, but so far i think it's not quite as good as it could have been.fmobliv06
but how could you run when holding something with forcegrab w/e? there just arent enough controls on the controller to control a character and an item
When I first heard about this game I thought it was alright, then when time passed by I forgot about it. Really wasn't going to buy it anymore, but soon as demo hit PSN store.
I downloaded it and MY GAWG!! I'll probably end up buying it cause I would still play the demo like crazy haha
I thought it was awesome as well but I didn't really like the AT-AT boss, it's somewhat difficult to fight but then all of a sudden I can cut it in half like it was nothing. The AI was a bit poor as well apart from the Euphoria AI.
I really liked the force powers though and slicing people up with a light-sabre is always fun and the new techs really add to the experience.

Prisoner1137
So you are gonna buy it? And if you are on tomorrow on the PSN, I will play TF2 with you.
I wasn't impressed at all. I had high hopes for it too. It wasn't as disappointing as say, Haze, but I just expected a lot more.

Yea there are, remember Psi Ops?
The only thing that I did not like was the AT-ST fight. There are only 2 ways of killing it but in the videos we had seen more. All in all its a great game imo. The force powers are great, you cant move because not even in the movies they move, the basic idea of the Force Grab in both the movies and here, is that you are concentrating in moving the object, not yourself, so all your focus goes to that. Just to give you a more plausible reason, aside from the fact, that we still dont use a third stick yet.
I also love to torture enemies :D Who wouldnt. If it wasnt for the ESRB, we would be having a bloody violent game. Damn ESRB.
I think the demo was alright. I'll probably get it at some point. Honestly though, one of the faults that I can't seem to get past... The dudes name is Starkiller.... It sounds like a screen name in a chat room for Star Trek fans. I mean, it's not terrible, but wtf you know? I think he would have done well with a good "Darth" name. Now, for those of you who like the name, my apologies. I don't think its totaly stupid and rediculous. It just doesn't quite seem to fit. Does anyone else kinda feel that way?
Anyone else tried it? I love it! So much fun, I've played through it maybe a dozen times. The demo is barely a demo: very tiny, but still I find it fun. I can't wait for the game. savinger
I definitely want it, but I know the belly achers are gonna grip about something. Probably claim that the gameplay gets too repetitive

What is the second way besides square,x,square?
Long Way Down. Just beat the crap out of him while moving him towards a ledge :D
To the comment that there weren't enough ways to kill the At-st, this is one of those games where you start weak and grow more powerful. I'm sure by the end, you'll be able to toss em around with a little more variety. And to the comment about the name Starkiller, I think it's a pretty cool tribute to the fact that originally, Luke's last name was gonna be Starkiller, but Geaorge changed his mind on it, and went with Skywalker, as it was a little less of a villainy sounding name.ianuilliam
Yep. or the fact that return of the jedi was actually called revenge of the jedi :D

About the name, that was my comment. I actually didn't know that about Luke. That makes sense now. Thanks for clarifying that one.
