*laughs* possible, but A : Diablo, there are loads of better RPGs out there I don't think I need to name even one. B : WarCraft/StarCraft, I own Shogun Total War, Medieval II Total War, Rome II Total War and Civ 4, any of these games boast better playability (at least to me) and are the best RTS available. WoW, an EQ and Dark Age of Camelot clone/hybrid/ what you want. They just pushes those last 2 games to the limit of boredom. Played while in beta and found out it was same ol' same ol' and didn't cared about a game that had me killing baby frog 20 times so I could kill child frog 50 times and then move on to teen frog so on so forth untill I reach that same version of froggie but in epic proportion. I'd rather play FF IV with a friend instead.
I'm not denying anything, I've seen the light (better quality games) while peeps comtemplate the false saviour that represent Blizzard :P

Diablo is not really in the RPG category, I would put it in the dungeon crawler category, as it is nothing like FF or Elder Scrolls, and it is THE dungeon crawler. Warcraft/Starcraft are THE RTS games. WoW is now THE MMORPG. Here's what you should realize, just because YOU don't see them as good games, doesn't change that most people do. Starcraft is still by far the best multiplayer RTS out there, and WoW is probably the most successful game of all time considering it has monthly fees. Diablo defined the genre it's in, as did Warcraft, then Starcraft. WoW may copy a lot from other MMOs, but Blizzard perfected the system to the point that 10+ million people pay to play it every month by making it more casual friendly but still retaining the hardcore elements.
Your credibility is lost in your post just by the way you are comparing the games. You would rather play a single player RPG (yes, a great one, but still single player) with a friend than a game where you can both play. That's a horrible comparison, as the whole point of MMORPGs was to make RPGs multiplayer (if you meant FFXI, then I just laugh at you, because WoW has problems, but FFXI has at least 10x more). You also compare all those RTS games to Starcraft/Warcraft and earlier you said Starcraft/Warcraft are the easiest. If you are seriously comparing the single player of Blizzard RTS games to others, you have NO idea what made Starcraft so great, and if you took the time to understand the story of Warcraft you would realize what makes WC2/3 so great. Warcraft 2 and Starcraft both came out well before any of the RTS games you mentioned (SC just a couple before Shogun), so I would say you will have to wait to see how SC2 is before making a judgement based on an older game. That's like saying Super Mario Bros. sucks because there were only three mario forms, little, big and fire.
As for WoW, if you don't like it, that's understandable, but if you don't like it, that means you probably don't like any MMORPGs, because it pretty much encompassed all the best parts of any that came before it in the fantasy genre. There are way too many people that bash WoW nowadays...after they play it for a year or so. I always find that stupid, because if you play a game for over a year, or however long, it did what it was supposed to do and a lot more. I think the reason most people end up hating the game after they quit is because they quit due to being burnt out. I have to ask that person, though, how long did you enjoy the game before being burnt out. No one can play the game for a 7 day trial, or however long it is, and make a just decision on the game. They may not enjoy it, but that does not mean they have the information available to say if the game is good or not, and the same goes for all MMOs. I know this sounds like I'm saying no one can say they actually don't like the game, but what I'm getting at is that no one can say the game was not well made without sounding ignorant.
If you don't like the Blizzard games, that's your opinion and I will not knock you for that. However, making ignorant comments about how Blizzard sucks and all their games are crap and making stupid statements which make it fairly clear you either didn't play the games or spent about 15 min on them 5-15 years after they were released just so you could make an "informed" opinion. The only thing I will say about that is, at least you aren't the only person that does this, a lot of people that WANT to dislike a game do exactly the same thing.
