You'll still love it without Move. I played it when it came out with a DS3 and it was still one of the greatest experiences I've had this gen. Move just enhances the immersion.
I was not to sure about this game when i got it but after going through the game and finishing it, i was surprised how good it is a must buy for the ps3 :)
its one of the best single player games on the PS3 (i've got the platinum for this game), and especially the fact it has no online in it, its perfect to play at this point in time
Truly awesome game experience. I also am playing this since PSn has been down. Do yourself a favor though, don't read any guides or tips until after you have beat the game at least once. Then you can trophy hunt or get all endings or what have you.
word of adivce; Dont go on YOU TUBE or read much reviews about it cos this game ruined the surprise of MANY people! I loved the game,epic with the move (played only with the move cos the controls were veryyyyyyyyyy diferenet
Got this game back when it first came out. Loved the crap out of it. The voice acting is kinda bad, but some people are great in it, like the Private Detective. He does great voice acting. This game reminds me of Saw except way better. I'm not sure how much the DLC is but when ever the hell PSN comes back up, you should look into that too. It's only $5 I believe. There was going to be another DLC but it was canned due to the development of MOVE compatablity.
Its awesome, graphics are tight, and using the six axis or move is fun way to play a game. Also the story is pretty deep and you get sucked in. Wish i had finished it more than once so i could see different outcomes.
Utterly brilliant, I'm looking forward to where the developer goes next. It didn't really suck me in until after the first hour, but after that I couldn't get enough. My fiance was requesting I play it so she could find out what happens next. I was genuinely surprised the game lasted as long as it did too. The only negative is that I didn't like the walking control.
If your into your trophies do your self a favor and DON'T WORRY ABOUT THEM UNTIL AFTER YOU PLAY.. Ive still got it sat on my shelve waiting to be played with some others..I have played it through with my mate on his account and knowing the story its utterly brilliant. but I won't say more since its something you should, and I wish I did, experience by yourself:)
utter Brilliant game, one of my favourate games of all time. Loved the story, the gruesomeness and passion of the characters, more like a book than a movie at how it plays with your emotions towards its main characters. I cant wait for there next game.
It's very poorly written, almost impossible to not guess the "twist" at the end, and you can't actually effect much of what goes on but the unintentionally hilarious moments and, mostly, terrible acting really made me enjoy the game when taken as a comedy.
The only negative is that I didn't like the walking control.
It's strange they handled walking so poorly. Interacting with everything else works very well and the opening is pretty good tutorial on how to do everything. They should have just let you move with the stick.
It's brilliant and a very unique experience. Once the story hooks you in and you start to care about what your actions does to the characters and story, thats when its at its best. It's very immersive and keeps you on the edge of seat from start to finish :)
I am actually on my 2nd run of the game. Don't look on blogs or threads about it because there are some mor0ns who will give the spoiler ending on who the killer is and they do it on purpose.
Amazing game..my only complaint would be that sometimes the voice acting sucks..also , multiple playthroughs fill in most of the plot holes you might encounter
You know I finished heavy rain recently.. This game is so different when you play it. You perpetually have a sense of spectres haunting and torment on you, feels rather disturbing for me, especially in some scenes. Just remember to prepare for some tissue paper before you play if you are easily touched or plaintive of things. I actually cried after finished for first time. ( no doubt my comment contain a bit of spoiler.
