STILL need help with Ultra moves in sf4

I am trying to unlock Gouken and Akuma, I will be using Ryu for the ultra finish. I have been trying to do it for about 2 days and looked up on many sites. This is what I have been doing. I press the same dpad buttons just like for Hadouken but I do it twice and then after that I press L1 (and i tried square also) 3 times really fast.

IT NEVER works, I know I'm doing something wrong :? need some help please, any links or videos or just a hint would be nice. :)

You did the samething I did when I first played it. You don't press it three times, your supposed to press all three punch buttons at the same time.All 3should be mapped to L1 by default, so your either not doing the down to right motion fast enough or they are mapped to a different button.

You have to press 3 buttons at the same time (LP/MP/HP or LK/MK/HK). You can assign one button to do that in the controller config. Pressing them 3 times won't work no matter how fast you push them.

chun lee's ultra is super easy to pull off. Ryu's gives me trouble sometimes with my stick. Easier on the controller sometimes I feel. ankor77

wow u serious? I'm having the hardest time doin her ultra. Its like no matter how fast I input the move after a charge, it won't do it.
