I played the demo about 20 times and my conclusion is that this is no button masher. I was hoping to see more free-form combos from this game; the demo delivered in spades. Hack a person up a couple of times, then kick his friend in the face, then counter some other fool, then launch a dude into the air and kick his ass, then...you get the idea. Button mashing in this game only gets you in trouble. It leaves you vulnerable to counter attack. It is also a good idea to take advantage of Nariko's speed and stay on the move.

I can't wait for this game to come out. I hope it is HARD or has a Hard mode that is in the Ninja Gaiden level. I look forward to busting people up.
