Stop complaining about the Orange Box score!

Stop complaining people! 9.0 is a good score! There were also framerate problems on the 360 so we all knew the PS3 version is bound to have similar issues as well.

That review is short and lacks details, but so what? Has a review stopped you from buying Ratchet & Clank? No. Uncharted? No.

Sheesh.

Orange box is awesome. Must play I haven't noticed any framerate issues. It still looks good for a dated game. I love the story and physics in HL2. Now only if more ppl were playing TF2 (everyone's playing ut). You guys shouldn't pass on this game if you haven't played HL2. I can't figure out the mic on either game

Yeah but it was delayed, and we end up getting a worst port? Shouldn't the delayed time be used to fix that? Yet its still was delayed and it still scores less? I don't know about you but that just seems bad to me...

But it's still a great game on PS3. Sure, EA didn't do as good of a job as Valve, but did you really expect them to? This is much better than I expected it to get after seeing some early impressions. Even though it's inferior in some very small ways, it's still a hell of a port job by a rather average developer.

Btw, I think Halo 3, Mass Effect, R&C, and Uncharted are all 9.0's. Nothing lower, nothing higher.

Because the PS3 is far more complex to develop for. Remember, EA started the port much later than Valve. It was because Valve was supposed to port it, then Gabe Newell wouldn't let his team work on PS3 for some reason or another.

Gabe hates the ps3 and he's made it pretty clear. I'm sure if it were up to him, orange box wouldn't be a ps3 game.

heres a video of TF2 being played on the PS3 and it was yesterday and so far theirs people on it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqhN1u1miR0 I don't see any issues in this one. looks like everyone is enjoying theirselves ,I'm gonna pick this game up along with UT3 hopefully tommorrow if not then friday.Tokyo90

because it's simply not a ps3 game, doesnt use the cell at all only the single core, why would I bother buying a game when they didnt even try make a ps3 game out of it, just a **** port, I got this on 360 and swapped it for assassins creed on ps31 day later, half life 2 looks and feels so old now.

The sad thing is....that "old" HL2 still has better in-game animations and storytelling than Assassin's Creed. Also, Portal is far more original and amusing. This is coming from an Assassin's Creed fan, btw.

If any of you haven't seen my previous thread about my call with Gamestop, take a look at this. I didn't see the clerk I spoke to when I picked up UT3 but I asked the other emp making the transaction, was there any other games released this week. He flat out said "No." I asked him if he was sure, but he said no. I knew there was another game in my radar but at the time, I couldn't remember what game it was. It was Orange box. Those damn Gamestop workers, they suck in every way. The only reason I buy games from them is because they usually have the releases first.

The score of 9.0 is always a good score though. As tryfe said, that's not bad for a port. Both EA and nowthis site is a bit suspect.
