Yeah...Here's a hint, stop playing games that come out every year...The prices are terrible. Plus, you need to remember that GameStop thrives from trades, the other thing about GameStop, is that if they have a ton of copies of one game, it trades for less. I work at GameStop, and that's how it works.
I got like 15 bucks for my oblivion game of the year edition archania123456
On goozex that game is still worth 1000 points for PS3 and 900 for 360. 1000 is the max any game is worth. I've been on the waiting list for both of them for months. Just click my link and sign up.
I must agree that Goozex is a great resource. I only got one game so far and I don't think I'll be using it again, but it is a great site. The reason I don't plan on using it again is because I've pretty much weeded out all the bad games from my collection, and I'm being alot more picky with which games I buy so I hopefully won't have anything I wanna trade. Just to expand a bit, Goozex is a site where you basically exchange games with people around the world. Each game has a point value and you get points for sending off games to other users. You then get other games with your points. The only thing you have to pay for is trade credits. You need a trade credit to recieve a game (not send) but you get a free one for signing up and I think they're only like a dollar or something. Even obscure games get eaten up fast, so no worries there (I traded "Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure" for PS1 the first day I listed it).
Yea, omg, I just heard of this new place called like ebay, you can like sell all your games on there for likez alots more than what you would like get from any stores! its Kerrazy!Stark1177
Works for me!
Prices vary depending on how much the retailer has of the game. If they have many madden games in stock, they may even say they don't want it. If they don't have any, then they will give you more money.LtColJaxson
are you sure about that? i think gamestop has to take in a game no matter what.. high or low price

I don't live in the US. But EB Games sometimes refuses game sales if they have a tonne of that game in stock.
[QUOTE="polishkid99"]wait blockbuster takes games in too??.. credit or cash???JoKeR_421
yea some do, the ones by my house does( in NYC)
So did you get cash or credit? That sounds like a sweet deal either way. I would prefer the cash because they may not have much in stock to choose from.
My friends brother works at the Blockbuster where I live and I just give him the game and he gets me 35 bucks per game no matter what game it is .. Blockbuster is much better ..420Token420
I usually dont trade in much games, but yeah when i do blockbuster is the choice for me, i go blockbuster for trade-ins and gamestop for buying games, gamestop might be a **** selling games , but buying games is a real good choice from that store, since they have a awesome selection. :)
About 2 or 3 weeks ago, I asked how much gamestop would give me for madden 08 for the ps3 and they said 7 bucks. Madden 09 comes out on August 12 so that price may have decreased even more since then. Today I went to blockbuster and asked how much they would take madden 08 for and they said 20 bucks. Much better deal!rsoxguy12
I never trade in my games because I don't get my money's worth and I'm basically losing my money.
yeah i dont think trading and selling games is good buisness unless you really hate the game like a 60 dollar purchase is not very cheap at all unless its xbox that thing is useless box250 w.e lol.. anyways after mgs4 i thought of selling my grand 30+ game library of which only questionable games would be genji days of the blade or spiderman3 which i accually really enjoyed i just refuse to squish my hard earned investment for a fraction of the price ya know n i hate used game because its terrible for the games industry... nothing hurts your favorite developers more then selling and buying used games if this trend would stop then perhaps we will see this great industry rise to where it belongs beside music movies etc most game company refuse to take risks so 90+ percent games are just shovelware built statisticaly to clone the games you really loved like gta4 w/e anyways i hope people smarten up no offense cheers
