I Got a ps3 for christmas and decided to first set it up down stairs on a 1080p HD tv so i would get the best out of it on day one. i brought it up to my room which is only 720p and set it up with HDMI and when i turn it on it is a blank screen except for when i put in Resistance 2, Resistance plays and shows up but when i try to acess the menu to change the video settings to 720p it just goes to a blank black screen, will i have to change the settings downstairs on the 1080p tv?
HOLD YOU POWER BUTTON for about 3-5 seconds when you turn it on and you wil hear a series of beeps it will downgrade to the lowest setting your tv can handle
