I'd like a link that proves that any reviewer that panned lair thinks it's a good game with analog controls.somesthetic
First off - I didn't say specifically a good game - as you pointed out it still has it's issues - however they are saying it is greatly improved, fun to play and is the game it should've been.
These are excerpts highliting the positives - as I said I am not denying there are still negatives - just that the game is worth playing now if you are someone like me who will play anything that is mildly interesting and fun:
IGN: "...The pack doesn't fix the cornucopia of other problems I have with Lair -- a worthless directional arrow, terrible lock-on system, lame dragon fights, etc. -- that Greg Miller haters always seem to ignore, but it definitely enhances the experience and should be picked up by folks who have held onto the title."

Game Focus: "The controls are so much better the game has become better to play in every way. You can pull 180 degree turns, dive, claw and fight your away with such ease you will be amazed and it does make the game more fun, much more fun in fact I will not sell/burn my copy of LAIR and plan on keeping it."
"Bottom Line - Worth the download if you have the game or will rent it. The game is fun, like it should have been in the beginning."

N4G.com (News For Gamers): Requotes and reiterates the article from Game Focus.
Joystiq.com: "...we should probably say something to Lair, who just flew in under our radars with an update to make the game playable -- not only with rumble but also analog controls."

PS3News.com: "...It's true, we didn't like Lair but that doesn't mean that we're not excited about the analog patch (calling itself 2.10) which is up now for download, and weighs in at 150-ish MB."
"Update 2: This is much better. Much. Might be time to re-review the game. Note that dash and u-turn are now mapped to the d-pad, too."

Anyway there are more - however I am tired of posting links and my dinner is ready. :)
