has anyone downloaded this? is it any good? its on playstation store and i was thinking purchasing it. i wonder if theres a forum about this game here in gamespot. anyone know?

Of course it's good!!! I played it before on PS1 so if you're getting & you like fighting games it's a classic.No talke about it bc BCR came the same day.

I own the Alpha Anthology for PS2, the only good one is Street Fighter Alpha 3 because it has like 30 characters and ridiculous specials. The first one is kinda bare bones.

is it good? i take it you were born in the late 90's or have been in jail for the last 15 years or something but seriously if you haven't played street fighter alpha get it it's worth the down load

Bah, It's a really good game and I'm a HUGE(really, HUGE) fan of SF. But I have other ways of playing SFA... and online, so yeah

Alpha 1 is really bare bones, and kinda easy. Alpha 2 is also kinda bare bones. Alpha 3 was friggin awesome (and pretty hard too).

as much of a street frighter fan that i am, i would say pass. alpha one, plays pretty slow, alpha 2, gets at a good speed and adds like 3 or 4 charaters, alpha 3(by far the best street fighter game) good speed, 30 or so charaters( preety dam hard as well.) your best bet would be to find the alpha ps2 game, has like 4 games in one, you could probabluy find that for like 20 bucks now.

Yeah, they should throw in Alpha 3 with a good online component (voip chat included). Then we can talk seriously about hype ^_^

i'd recommend getting the alpha anthology, it's got all three plus the gold version of alpha 2, and its also a disc copy which is better imo.
