I just don't get it, everyone says this and yet gamestop has done nothing to remedy, someone needs to get the BBB. (ithink)

Anyways achievements are cool, however if you are not into them it's not really a plus.

i just got back from gamestop i got nba 2k8 for ps3 because i got friends that play the ps3 version online so he was like do you have a 360 i was like yeah but i want it for the ps3 because my real life friends play it and its gonna be a blast playing them online all the time and he was like no man get it for the 360 version its better online and the achievements i was like ok just give me the ps3 version and i give you the 60 dollars and i get out of here and he was like ok man i was just trying to help you and give you more for your money:roll: i was like ok and i walk out really piss:evil:ps3and360owner

at the gamestop i work at, were anti nintendo. lol which is is easy to be when every week were recieving 50 new absolute trash shovelware ds and wii titles. im the only ps3 owner on staff,but we have legitimate debates on the systems. were not hardcore fanboys.we realize a good game is a good game no matter what the system.if weve played a game well offer a coustomer our opinion but weve never hassled them. even if theyre buying trash, that bad game purchase is paying my paycheck, so who would insult or infuriate a customer? yea it kicks ass working at a game store but its a business first and foremost, so fanboyism has no place. theyre lucky for your business cuz im sure you could have just bought the game at walmart or something and enjoyed a stress free trip. xg4bx

Ok I see... and wow he is a serious troll. Did you look at his reviews in his profile? he rated multiplat games either 10 or 1.0 based on if it was on the 360 or PS3. example NBA live 08 PS3 score: 1.0, and NBA Live 08 360score: 10. lol, this guy really needs a life.

It's his money, and it's up to him to get whichever version he wants. Not like he hired that guy to be his financial advisor. And no need to ask him to get a life, this is his life. Total dedication to his one console.

I don't think they're fanboys so much as just jerks.

I've recieved attitude for such things as trading in games, asking if they had any demo discs, asking if they had any used memory cards, buying controller extention cables.

basically they think they're smarter than you and cant wait to belitte anything you're doing.

yeah most of the xbox fanboys are the same ones that play the first person

shooter games all the time and put bogus code in to cheat on-line

just so they feel good about them selves i think 360 is just a cheap Pc

myself just think about it most of the games for 360 come out on

the pc with bettter add ons most of the time better graphics on the PC too..

I would like to say something but the mods like to run me over when it comes to me making "the other box" comments on the PS3 board. That's why I've hopped on the official playstation forums, very comfortable there. I just thought this thread was a little interesting but my comments stop there.Ya'll are freely talking about "the other box" but I'm sure a mod will notice sooner or later. all i can say is...dont shop at gamestop!!!

i went there to buy warhawk and they said they only have copies for warhawk for pre orders only. so i go to the next store in the mall called wall-mart and they had 6 copies. everytime i go there they only have games for pre oder only. plus i hate the fact when u buy a game there ur game is already opened:?

It doesn't matter what a person behind the desk thinks is a right thing.

When I walk into the store to buy PS3 game I don't need anyone to persuade me otherwise. If someone is giving you a problem, kindly ask for his manager to speak with.

You will see how the table changes.

Though I have yet to encounter a person trying very hard to sell me X360 in EB store I have had few good arguments, but nothing serious.

You have to understand that not every EB/Gamespot or other gaming store is the same. People who work could be a fan of particular system, the could talk to you about it, have a little joke or conversation. It's natural and you don't have to talk to them if you don't want to.

Try not to take things to serious, in the end it's your money and your purchase. I always try to have good time when buying a game.

You guys are morons yourselves if you really think ALL GS/EB employees are biased. I've been a to couple of those stores that promoted the PS3 and pushed it on me. Did I think they were biased? No, I just figured that it was something they were trying to sell or that they were big fans of. Why does it concern you? Do you think that $ony is losing money because of GS/EB being biased? The answer is no. Try not to get your panties tied too tight--relax. If they are trying to sell you something you don't like, then just say no. It's really that simple.feryl06

There are a lot of vulnerable consumers that get easily persuaded this way.

Maybe Microsoft gives them bonuses... I'm joking but yet I wouldn't be surprised if that was ever true.

I personally havent had alot of run ins with them in the past. Most of them arent really fanboys at all..
