Hello, I have 11€ to spend on the psn and wanted to buy a game. What do you guys suggest? I find the whole thing pretty confusing, there should be a sort of chart, with descriptions, previews and user reviews, stuff like that. I was tempted by Outland. Is that any good?

Cheers

You can always find reviews and videos on various websites, including Youtube. I recommend Magic Orbz if you don't already have it and enjoy block-breaker games.

If you want something really worth the money I'd get any of the PS1 Final Fantasy's if you haven't played them. 30-60 hours of entertainment easy. I already had 7, 8 & 9 on disc so I got 6 from PSN. Fantastic games all well worth it. Everybody must at least play 7.

If you've already played those... I think Limbo's coming out today for Europe/UK. I might pick that one up myself....

I didn't like the Outland demo though, so I can't recommend that. Maybe Braid or Trine?

I suggest you try demos of games that are downloadable in the store and buy the ones you like the most [I'm captain obvious, I know.8)]. You can search for games by: Newest, Most popular or Type(Shooter, adventure, action, etc.).

You should get a small description of the game and it's features after clicking it's Icon, you can also see the ratings from people who downloaded the game in stars. They average eveyones votes together, so you may see something like: 3.68 out of 5.

For actual game suggestions I'd need to know what kind of games you're into.

The HD remake of Beyond Good & Evil is avsilable now. The reviews posted on the store in the form of stars are quite accurate. PSN rocks there are plenty of good games on there. Get BG&E & experience one of the BEST games of last generation.

thank you guys, yeah I always watch reviews on gamespot and ign, i just wanted an advice directly from fellow gamers. I think I will give outland a try, I was intrigued from the visuals and it was reviewed pretty well. Limbo seems nice but I read it's really short and it costs 13 €, maybe with a price drop in the future.

cheers!

I think Super Stardust HD and Gravity Crash are some of the best PSN games out there, so I'd strongly recommend those. I've played Outland demo and I thought it's awesome! May be buying it at some point.

Please use the Game Recommendation Thread when asking for suggestions on what game to get.
