Considering the fact that I got bored of Suikoden II after about 7 hours, I'm having trouble deciding which game to invest my time in. I hated the friendship plot in Suikoden II (I've seen it b4 too many times) and I didn't like being basically a side character. I like being the chosen one! lol. So might I like the story in the first game better? One slash against the Suikoden games, for me, is having to make so many decisions. I don't like always having to choose between characters! Because I inevitably will only choose the attractive female characters, no matter how much they suck or don't fit in the party! lol.
That said is the story any good in Wild Arms? The characters? Which game is just plain more fun to play? Your opinions in the light of all this, please!
i really wanna say get wild arms cause im a die hard wild arms fan. but since you already got suikoden 2, just go get suikoden 1. in terms of story & gameplay, suikoden is really superior than wild arms. suikoden 1 wont disappoint. its fun to play and really really epic. it starts slow but picks up really good later on. and some of the characters here in suikoden 1 appears on suikoden 2, even the main character (his an optional hidden character).
check the vids on youtube for gameplay and decide... thats what i always do, it helps. the only reason i posted here is bec. of wild arms. lol. love that game... but just pick suikoden...its really really good.
I ended up DLing Wild Arms. I did the girl's prologue, but then I went and accidentally selected her portrait again when it went back to the prologue selection menu. Did I just, in effect, skip the other two characters' prologues?
And... what screen size option do you guys play at? I'd like to play in "Normal" but it makes the text hard to read, so I'm kind of stuck on the tiny "original" setting.

you need to play all 3 in order to move forward
hmm if i remember it correctly (wildarms 1 right?) as cecilia you need to go to castle adelhide then you'll be prompted to choose or just press select in game to choose another prologue
btw for me suikoden 3 is the best specially the lady knight Cris lightfellow a.k.a the white devil (hoping they'll port it to the psp)
