Surprising Songs of Gaming (Master List Returns!)

On the Innovation Thread, I heard several songs that were completely amazing to the ear, as well as heard a few of my old favorites. This time around, I ask for all the surprising songs of gaming. Songs that either felt out of place, or you just didn't see coming. A reason behind your song/link would be nice too. Very nice. And keep it in the realm of Sony, preferably PS3.

Example: Eternal Sonata~ Broken Balance Reason: It's a Waltz gone evil. And it almost sounds like Sakuraba didn't do it! What else do you need? :P

Ys VII- Scias PSP

While the entire OST was quite a departure from older Ys games, this track takes the cake. One of the first Ys boss themes that dont completely annihilate guitars.

Honestly.. PS3 song would be Old Snake theme from MGS4

either that or Ethans Mars theme from heavy rain (i'm playing through it now and pretty much the whole soundtrack is amazing...

on PSP i'd nominate jeanne d'arc theme

Ps2 theme totally goes to Katamari on the Rocks from katamari Damacy

On the PS1 no other song in any game ever has stood out as much as the opening theme from Persona 2.. its simply beautiful

Guilty Gear X- Awe of She

Very Daisuke-ish but way more diabolical sounding then most of his work

This song completely shocked me and blew me away when I first played Persona 4.
