Swapping playstations!

Hello,

I have the old playstation 3 and want to change it for the playstation 3 slim, but i dont want to lose my trophies or game saves... can anyone tell me how to do this please?

but will this let me unlock new trophies on the games i backed up... i heard if you change ps3's you cant get trophies on ur old game saves.
