System is making a humming sound/vibrating?

So just a few moments ago I turned on my PS3 with my controller, and kept the TV on a different input to finish watching a show before I got to playing. Soon though I noticed that there was this weird humming noise, so I went over to the system and saw it was making the sound and vibrating a little. I turned it off, let it sit, and turned it back on but it still makes the same sound.

Thoughts?

it comes and goes with my ps3. i am playing dragon age, and every now and again it will make a humming sound while reading the disc. the disc is brand new as well. so i guess its somewhat normal. my ps3 is vertical by the way, and a ps3 slim

Toss it in a river. If it floats it's a witch. At that point I say get a reality television program called PSPagan and the Poor Fellow.

Seriously though, I'm sorry to hear that sir. I'm still rocking the 60g original and all is dandy, wiggle free here. I suggest a call to Sony and a kind hug from a friend. Good luck brother.

I turned it off for a good while, turned it back on and put it up vertical (was horizontal), and everything is fine now. Thanks guys :)
