Suit case with safe numbers on it, that way no one could open it without the code.

Armored car perhaps? Gesh.. I don't know. Treat it like you would a carton of eggs and you'll be fine.

I would never, ever move my Ps3 unless I move to a new house. Move stuff like that just bothers me no matter how safe it should be if you're careful.

I purchased one of those G-Pak carrying cases for when I travel (which is way too often), and I've been very pleased.

Smash it into a million little pieces and wait to put it back together at your friends house. It will be fun and educational at the same time.

Take the box, but with a brick inside of it. put your ps3 in your backpack. kinda like a decoy.

I wrap mine in a thin. soft cloth to avoid scratching. I the put that in the big pouch of a book bag. All the games in the next biggest pouch. Then the controller(s) and wires in another pouch. Zip it all up and off I go. Not a scratch on my system yet. And the games and wires are protected to.

You should take it in a carriage being pulled by Unicorns and a couple of naked nymphs throwing rose petals along the way as you go.

The best thing to do is take it apart piece by piece and then when you get over there you can just put it back together This way nothing will be scratched or broken or dropped and everything will be A OK....:D

I do it all the time.

Done this probably 3 or 4 times since I bought mine, xmas of 2006.

I have some bublle wrap. the big bubbles in a long roll. I use that to wrap around the PS3, like I was shipping it. And that usually fits back into the original box just fine. I guess, whatever inards the box comes with I take out. But I am able to fit the wrapped PS3, cables, two controllers, and some games in that one box.

Besides the obvious "be careful" this is what i recommend.

If you could only score a second Ps3 for a dirt cheap price you'd be golden. A permanent one for home and one for traveling. Just wait for another year and get a second one.

I give you some advise. I hear many people talk about that there ps3 won't work on there friends tv. All you have to do when you have conneced your ps3 to there tv is holding the powerbutton till you hear some beeps. This is all I am saying nothing more.

well yea when u first bought it think its been probably threw 30 states and on like 5 different semi trucks and thinks all the pot holes and bumps all the ps3's go threw then think when they get to wal-mart or where ever think the people that work there im not sayin all the people that work there do this but some do they usually just throw them on the shelves and there but then u take it out of the box and it works fine so i dont think u have to worry to much i took mine to my cousins for easter and i just carried it with a towel over it and it was fine now sometimes ill wrap it with a towel and then put it in a gym bag so u all should be fine.
