Thought i'd share this news to all on the PS3 fourms, Namco Bandai have just announced today that their bringing over Tales of Graces F is "coming soon" to North America on the PlayStation 3. in todays press event thy also promissed more infomation to be coming very soon. they have also posted the official facebook page for ToGF and with more likes they get the more info they will reveal Link: http://www.facebook.com/tales#!/tales

Tales of Graces F takes place on Efinea, a planet dominated by three kingdoms competing for the right to rule. After losing a close friend, Asbel, the eldest son of a feudal lord, enlists in a knight's academy in his kingdom's capital to learn to better protect those he loves. Asbel's father subsequently dies, and Asbel then takes his place as a feudal lord, and the adventure begins.

Sweet this is awesome news! I played the Japanese demos and I loved it! and Tales of Symphonia is one of my favorite games.

Please tell me that song will stay. I love it, despite being sung by a jpop artist. Also, if there is a trial version, and if it is playable on US PS3s, does anyone have a link to...wait... EDIT: Higher quality version of the song. Which is White Wishes.tjoeb123

At first I was a bit disappointed that we didn't get ToV, but now I'm actually glad we're getting Graces instead because now I have TWO Tales games to play :D Gonna start ToV this weekend on Xbox.Texas2089

I already imported Graces F a couple months back. I'll just keep it sealed and then buy the English version when it releases. Yay.

It looks ok tbh, i'd say more like a 6 to 7 out of 10 i mean neptunia as for Ar Tonelico 3 not really you dont need to play the past games, think of it more like Final fantasy, each series has its own story and world, nothing related to the old games.

Tales of Vesperia is a great game. who knows, It was a slim chance that they would bring us this game, Namco could bring Vesperia over. I feel bad for the Wii owners though. I thought that namco would announce Xillia for PS3 NA and Graces for wii.

Whats the tales game about? I plan on getting it since theres not much jrpg this gen(and thats one of the reason why I wanted the ps3 as well) but I have never played one before and hows the combat system?

their mani focus now seem to be only Graces F as they said: "Our focus right now is TOG:f. We are simply announcing that the game is indeed making it's way to the west."

Whats the tales game about? I plan on getting it since theres not much jrpg this gen(and thats one of the reason why I wanted the ps3 as well) but I have never played one before and hows the combat system?

Well at least one 'Tales of' game is coming to PS3 but I was hope for ToV, but I'm grateful we can get ToGF. I just hope sometime during this year ToV is announced although that's very unlikely.

I sure hope they bring To as well, only thing now is that we need to support this as much as possible so that we can ToV or the new Tales of Xillia coming over as well

Hopefully, my excitement will revivify upon the game's release date. As for Graces having "different character archetypes," I wouldn't get my hopes up. I'd really be hard-pressed to find an anime-esque JRPG that offers anything other than a myriad of cliches -- especially in terms of character roles and personalities -- and I doubt Graces will offer anything different. That's not to say that the characters will be poorly-made or generally uninteresting, but they will more than likely be based off well-established (i.e greatly overused) archetypes.

Meh... as long as the main character won't be some happy-go-lucky, naive, kid with a strong sense of justice and a love for adventure, I'll be able to tolerate pretty much anything else (sort of, lol).

The game-play's probably going to rock though, as it does in most Tales games.

The demo was pretty good.

If the game sells well we will get Tales of Xillia. :D But anyway, glad the game will come here to America. Any RPG fan in general will love it.

And that BS with the Vesperia logo is...well...BS. Seriously. Does this mean all those other game logos were just to throw people off too? I've already played the game, and enjoyed most of it, but wouldn't have minded getting the updated version. Retards.
