Tank War for Playstation Eye is "Next Gen"

It's a short tech demo for Playstation eye, but it's something you have to watch to believe.

The video clip in the article demostrates some immense potentials if Sony can follow up on it. It's certainly making me wanting to buy a Playstation Eye when this becomes a real product.

Can anybody imagine what the boundary would be if games like LBP get mixed with this technology?

I had pretty much forgotton about this little gem. They had something about this Tank War demo on the PS blog sometime back, and it still looks fascinating. It's nice to know that they still have it lying around, and I hope that this gets used or is made into a game someday.

Woah! That is some really interesting technology. The fact that it can tell what and where you want the turret and treads to be is amazing. The only thing that bugs me is I can defenetly see people making tanks in the shape of a certain body part...that would be akward...Switchblade1010
