alright so im getting my ps3 today with ninja gaiden sigma, and i have enough money for one more game. i already have oblivion for my pc, so dont even say that. now, i was thinking about the darkness. player reviews seem good, but a couple ppl on the forums have been like "oo it sux" i will not play on the multiplayer probly, so how is the singleplayer?

I enjoyed the single player game, very bloody and gorey (that's what I like in video games). I haven't played the full game of NGS but I hear that game is ****ing amazing from most of my friends. Personally, I think you would be better off with NGS but if you want, you can wait to get home and download both of the demos and see which is for you.

yeah im definately gettin NGS, but i wasnt sure if i should get the darkness too or not. but i might hold off cause im gonna have to buy lair and warhawk still....

i enjoyed the darkness. it was fun being the supernatural hitman. just wish the game was a little longer. and it had some of those "What the hell?" moments. There was a big one towards the beginning where you just sit there and go "Damn."

I almost bought the Darkness but at the last minute decided to get Rainbow Six: Vegas instead cuz I heard it was great, and it's probably the best decision I've ever made in my life. R6V is the most fun I've had on PS3, I don't even like tactical shooters--i hated all the other rainbow six games and all the socom games, but this one integrates the strategy into the action seemlessly, it's also got the best online multiplayer ever, so I would definitely recommend Rainbow Six: Vegas as your second game--you'll get way more replay value and just a better gameplay experience overall. I know it sounds crazy but it's true!!!!

he already said he was gettin NGS plus one more game not one or the other. as for the darkness, my cousin has it and i cant thought it sucked but you may feel different just buy NGS which is a great game and download the demo for darkness to see how you like it from the ps store.

The darkness is a remarkable single player experience that you really shouldn't miss. I've been through the game 3 times now and it just gets better every time.

The darkness is more of a rental than a purchase. Its an amazing game so cool but a little short and a weak multiplayer make it a rental.

alright thanks everyone. i decided im gonna stick with just NG:S then ill get warhawk and lair when they come out... gotta save my money haha for the next couple months so many good games comin out

Good idea, there are a ton of great games coming out. I just realized that 4 games I really want are all coming out within the same week of each other--Unreal Tournament-Nov. 12, Half-Life 2-Nov. 13, Army of Two-Nov. 15, and Haze-Nov. 19. It's gonna be insane!!!

I played the game on 360 and thought the single player game was really good. The multiplayer part of it was awful. Very laggy and unplayable. I think with a patch, it will run better. I didn't feel like waiting for that, so I sold it.
