TEKKEN 6: BLOODLINE REBELLION Announced

So yeah, that means Tekken 6 is officially delayed, and will be released in 2009. As Namco decided to skip the normal version of it, and make a kind of a "Dark Resurrection" of it, so this upgrade shall be showed at September 20th 2008 in Tokyo, and will be released in the arcades December 2008, so Tekken 6 will be released Q1-2 2009. But expect some new stuff, and a Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion appearance at TGS 2008 hopefully. These informations are from the Arcadia October issue, so those aren't false informations guys!

Lol at this rate we will probably get tekken 7 before we ever get tekken 6..

Huh what? What about the original version of T6 that's already in arcades in Japan and the US? Im 100% confused right now.onthalookout

I think that that version of tekken was intended kinda like the beta version. I guess this new release they gonna build upon the other version. Those arcade should get substituted with this version of tekken.

I realize that T6 is been being 'tested' by top Japanese, Korean and other players from around the world and have considered it 'broken', but this announcement sucks for diehard Tekken fans. The reason being, when DR(balanced T5) came out T5 was already sitting in my ps2 and I was having hella fun. I think they should release T6 asap, then release T6"BR" later on after they balance, tweak it and do all the add-ons.. exactly how the did DR. I'm sure some don't understand, but 98% of the US hasn't even laid a hand on T6 while the rest of the world's been playing it for almost a year. Least they could do is let the US have T6 on console then release Blood Rebellion summer 09. Wow this is gonna be one LONG wait for a game. BTW my favorite game, and the only game I play on a daily basis.

Don't get me wrong.. Im happy Namco is top notch when it comes to Tekken and not a joke like SC but it is almost half decades between releases now. Release what's out then relaase downloadable patch or a whole new game. I'll buy both.

I know what you mean.. i've been waiting for ages for tekken 6, and i was finding it strange we didnt get any news on it... not even at e3.. then this news came up. Its just weird... Oh well, i just hope they fix all the problems the original had.. namely people are complaining that bob is super broken.
